The Vodafone mobile phone provider domain contained a redirecting JavaScript that made attempts to infect user’s computers through an unpatched Windows Help and Support Center vulnerability. That infection alone was responsible for approximately twenty percent of all United Kingdom webpages injected with malware. This particular infection was so successful because it went after the most utilized version of Windows and attacked an area of vulnerability.
